Not in any way that clears a basement. The City & County of Denver's free Large Item Pickup (booked through Denver 311 · 720-913-1311) runs on a rotating ~9-week schedule, takes a maximum of five large items per cycle, and is strictly curbside-only — plus it won't take appliances, electronics, or tires at all. A full basement is easily dozens of items and several appliances, so using the city program would mean hauling everything up the stairs and out to the curb yourself, five pieces at a time, waiting nine weeks between rounds, and still being stuck with the freezer and the old TV it refuses. That's why a basement is squarely full-service territory. We come once, carry it all up, and take the things the city leaves behind.
A dry Denver basement is full of stuff that's still good, so we sort as we carry. Usable furniture, tools, and household goods go to donation first — Goodwill of Colorado, ARC Thrift Stores, and Habitat for Humanity ReStore across the metro, with a tax receipt on request. Metal is scrapped, electronics go to an e-cycler (Colorado bans them from landfills), and refrigerant appliances get EPA-certified freon recovery. Every load leaves tarped, which on the Front Range keeps the tip fee from doubling — and keeps your flat price honest.
