Lakewood isn't Denver — the bulky-pickup gap

Here's the part people miss: Lakewood is its own city, in Jefferson County, not the City & County of Denver. There's no free citywide Large Item Pickup here the way there is a few miles east. TVs, computers, and monitors go to an e-cycler because Colorado bans electronics from the landfill. Every load leaves tarped — Front Range disposal sites double the fee on an unsecured load, so covering it is just how a professional hauler works, and it keeps your street clean on the way out.
