In an older Denver neighborhood you could set a broken dresser at the curb and let the city's bulky program collect it eventually. Here, a pile at the curb is exactly what the HOA will flag, and the city's program wouldn't come for weeks anyway. That's why the way we work fits this neighborhood so well: we load from the home — pulling everything out of the attached garage or up from the basement and onto the truck on the same visit — so nothing is ever staged at the curb, nothing sits overnight, and there's nothing for the association or the design review to notice.
Everything is priced flat before the truck rolls, and because Colorado doesn't tax the service — no sales tax, no refuse tax — the number we quote is the number you pay. For a young family juggling a move or reclaiming a garage before winter, that combination of HOA-clean and no surprises is the whole appeal.
Central Park's houses are new by Denver standards — most built in the 2000s and 2010s — but a new home fills a garage just as fast as an old one, maybe faster with a couple of kids in it. The stroller becomes a scooter becomes a bike becomes three bikes; the treadmill from the new-baby resolution turns into a laundry rack; the sectional gets replaced and the old one moves out to the garage "for now." Add the fact that many of these homes have a finished basement under the attached garage, and a declutter here is usually two spaces at once. The thing about a young-family neighborhood is that most of what leaves the house isn't junk — it's just outgrown. That's ideal for diversion, so we donate first: usable furniture, bikes, and household goods route to ARC Thrift Stores, Goodwill of Colorado, and Habitat for Humanity ReStore, and metal is sent to scrap. It lines up with the waste-diversion push Denver has leaned into citywide — and it means a Central Park family's outgrown gear tends to furnish someone else's first apartment instead of ending up in a hole in Aurora.

Denver's free Large Item Pickup is built on one thing this neighborhood can't do: leaving a pile at the curb. It's curbside only, comes around just once every nine weeks, takes at most five large items (plus ten bags), and excludes appliances, electronics, and tires — so even setting aside the HOA, it wouldn't take your garage fridge, your old TV, or the tires in the corner. In a covenant-controlled community, staging bulk at the curb to wait weeks for a five-item pickup is exactly what you're trying to avoid. Loading from the home on a scheduled flat price, appliances and e-waste included, is the whole reason we're a better fit here than the city truck.
