Why the city's Large Item Pickup fails an HOA neighborhood
Denver's free Large Item Pickup is built on one thing this neighborhood can't do: leaving a pile at the curb. It's curbside only, comes around just once every nine weeks, takes at most five large items (plus ten bags), and excludes appliances, electronics, and tires — so even setting aside the HOA, it wouldn't take your garage fridge, your old TV, or the tires in the corner. In a covenant-controlled community, staging bulk at the curb to wait weeks for a five-item pickup is exactly what you're trying to avoid.
