Denver's free Large Item Pickup is real, but it's built for a curb, not a Denver Square basement. It comes around once every nine weeks, takes at most five large items (plus ten bags), and it's curbside only — you'd have to get everything up out of the basement, down from the attic, and out to the street yourself.
