How the pricing works

Two ways to price a job, and you take whichever is lower.

Per item. Everything in the catalogue has a published price. If you can name what is going, add them up. A sofa and a queen mattress is $126 + $103 = $229.

By truck fraction. For anything you cannot itemize — a basement, a garage, an estate. A quarter is $241, three-eighths $338, a half $431, five-eighths $513, three-quarters $587, seven-eighths $661, a full truck $732.

What is included: the carry-out from wherever the item is standing, the labor, and the disposal. What is not included and does not exist: a stair charge, a walk-up fee, a same-day surcharge, a refrigerant fee, a seasonal rate. Colorado sales tax applies where it applies and is shown before you confirm. The minimum for a visit is $75.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the real price or a starting price?

It is the real price. Every figure here is the published catalogue price, and the total you see before you book is the total. There is no stair charge, no walk-up fee, no same-day surcharge and no refrigerant fee. Colorado sales tax is shown before you confirm.

Should I price per item or by truck fraction?

Whichever is lower. If you can name the pieces, per item usually wins — a sofa and a queen mattress at $126 + $103 = $229 beats a quarter truck at $241. Once the pile is unnameable, the truck ladder is simpler and usually cheaper.

Do prices change for a basement or a third-floor walk-up?

No. Denver's turning bungalow basement stairs and pre-war Capitol Hill walk-ups are the normal case in this market, and the carry-out is already priced in. A sofa is $126 from the basement, the third floor, or a ground-floor Aurora bedroom.

What is the minimum charge?

$75 per visit. Because of that, single small items are worth bundling — adding a $68 television and a $77 box of electronics to a sofa pickup costs far less than three separate visits.

Do you charge more in summer, when everyone is moving?

No. Denver crams moving, renovation and garage clearing into the warm months, so the calendar gets tight from May through September — but the prices are identical in July and in February. Book early for a summer Saturday.
