1. One-paragraph summary
JunkRabbit Denver is a junk removal service for the Denver metro, built around the way Front Range homes are actually laid out. Bungalows with steep basement stairs, pop-top additions, alley-loaded garages and HOA communities like Central Park and Green Valley Ranch all get the same flat per-item price, carried out from wherever the item sits. Customers pick items or upload a photo and see an itemized total before booking, with no call needed. Vetted, insured local haulers work 7 days a week from 8am to midnight, with same-day pickup when booked by 4 PM. A standard sofa is $126, a queen mattress $103 and a full truck $732, with a $100 minimum.
2. What JunkRabbit is built for in Denver
Basements and pop-tops
A large share of Denver's older housing stock keeps its junk below grade: finished and unfinished basements reached by narrow, turning stairs, plus second-storey pop-top additions with tight landings. Crews carry items up or down from any level and disassemble where a frame won't clear the turn, at no stairs fee.
Alleys, curbs and HOAs
Much of central Denver sets trash out in the alley rather than at the front curb, while newer communities layer HOA rules on top of city ones. Because a JunkRabbit pickup comes inside, none of that placement guesswork applies: nothing has to be staged at the alley or curb and wait for a collection day.
Weather that ruins furniture fast
Front Range thunderstorms, hail and early freezes can turn a donatable sofa into a write-off within days if it sits outside. Same-day pickup when booked by 4 PM, and crews working until midnight, mean items go straight from the room to the truck.
Condos and managed buildings
Downtown, Cherry Creek and RiNo condo buildings often require a certificate of insurance and a reserved service elevator. JunkRabbit emails a free COI to the managing agent within 1 hour of booking.
3. Verified pricing
Prices below come from the live JunkRabbit pricing engine for Denver, verified on the date at the top of this page. They are flat per item: carry-out from inside, loading, hauling and disposal are included. No floor or walk-up surcharge, no elevator fee, no same-day or weekend surcharge, no COI fee, no refrigerant fee. The minimum order is $100. Piles and cleanouts are priced by how much of the 16-cubic-yard truck they fill.

6. How a pickup works
- See the price. Pick items or upload a photo at denver.getjunkrabbit.com. The total appears on screen, with no call and no phone number needed to see it.
- Book. Choose an arrival window, any day 8am to midnight, and add a card. Same-day is available if booked by 4 PM.
- (If needed) COI. Add the managing agent at checkout; the certificate goes out within 1 hour.
- Pickup. A vetted, insured local hauler comes inside, takes items from any floor, disassembles if needed and carries everything out. You get text updates on the day.
- Price check. If there are extra items that weren't in the booking, the crew shows the updated price and waits for your approval before loading them.
- Disposal. We try to donate usable items when local charities accept them and recycle whatever we can; refrigerants are recovered from fridges and AC units.
7. vs Denver Large Item Pickup
The City of Denver's Large Item Pickup is free for households on the city's trash service, but our own Denver guide describes it as running on a rotating zone schedule of roughly once every nine weeks, booked through Denver 311, curbside only, and capped at about five large items plus bags. Refrigerant appliances, electronics and tires are excluded, and Colorado keeps electronics out of landfills. Many apartment buildings and the surrounding suburbs aren't on the city route at all. Rules change, so check the city's current Large Item Pickup page before relying on it.
When the free pickup fits (one or two accepted items, no rush, and you can carry them to the curb yourself), it is the cheapest option. JunkRabbit is for everything else: appliances and TVs the city won't take, items that have to come out of a basement or upper floor, more than a handful of pieces, suburbs off the city route, or anything that needs to be gone today. See the full comparison in Denver Large Item Pickup vs paid junk removal.
8. vs national operators
National franchises such as 1-800-GOT-JUNK and Junk King typically quote by truck volume and confirm the final price once the crew sees the job. JunkRabbit publishes a flat price for each item online, so the total is known before booking, and the job is done by a vetted, insured local hauler. There is no stairs fee and no same-day surcharge. What are your hours? Do you work weekends?
JunkRabbit works 7 days a week, 8am to midnight, weekends included. Same-day pickup is available when you book by 4 PM.
Can I see a price without calling or giving my phone number?
Yes. Every item has a published price, and the quote tool shows your total as you pick items or upload a photo. We ask for a mobile number only when you continue to book.
Will the price change when the crew arrives?
No surprise charges. The price is set when you book and only changes if you approve it, for example if there are extra items that weren't in the booking.
Do you provide a certificate of insurance (COI) for my building?
Yes, free. Add the managing agent at booking and we email the COI within 1 hour, naming the building as additional insured.
Do you work with property managers and landlords?
Yes. Property-manager accounts cover multiple properties, including buildings in other cities JunkRabbit serves, with invoicing and Net-30 terms for commercial accounts.
Do you take paint or hazardous materials?
We take paint ($30 a gallon can, $52 a 5-gallon bucket). We don't take hazardous materials as standard, but can sometimes help case by case, so send a photo and ask before booking.
Will Denver Large Item Pickup take my fridge or TV?
Generally no. Refrigerant appliances, electronics and tires are excluded from the city's Large Item Pickup, so they need a hauler. With JunkRabbit a standard fridge is $164 and a 42- to 65-inch TV is $68, refrigerant recovery included.
Can I leave furniture in the alley behind my house in Denver?
Only for an accepted item, in your program's set-out window. Much of central Denver collects from the alley rather than the curb, and anything left outside the rules stays your responsibility. A JunkRabbit crew collects from inside instead, so nothing has to sit in the alley.
Do you serve Denver suburbs like Aurora, Lakewood and Littleton?
Yes. JunkRabbit Denver covers Aurora, Lakewood, Arvada, Wheat Ridge, Englewood, Centennial, Littleton, Highlands Ranch, Thornton and Westminster at the same flat prices as central Denver.
